One of our forum member, burn2dust24 suggested a way to solve the @dicID issue.
Since the beta test started yesterday, a lot of people are hit by the @dicID issue. It started out returning an error code (showing @dicID_^*$ETC_20150918_014643$*^) that points to a Github English translation file. However, that has been fixed today after a patch. And the error returns to be the following:
The client has been shutdown due to an error.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
By clicking the [Yes] button, details of the error will be sent to the developers.
※ The information that will be sent : error code, CPU, VGA and the memory driver information
However, the patch did not completely allow players to get back into the game. One of our forum member, burn2dust24 suggested a temporary solution to solve the @dicID issue. I have tested it on my friend’s PC and it has 100% working rate so far and he is connecting into Tree of Savior on every try.
The solution by burn2dust24:
1. Open the user.xml folder located at
2. Edit the line 5 to the following. Mode 2 = Windowed mode (this is important)
<Resolution mode=”2″ width=”1280″ height=”720″ BitPerPixel=”32″ VSync=”1″/>
3. Start Tree of Savior.
4. Choose your server.
5. Once you press “Enter” (server), quickly press window’s (x) close button.
6. Wait for 5 – 8 seconds.
7. Press “cancel”
8. Enjoy Tree of Savior. The servers are all not full yet.
Let us know if the solution works for you or not. Please vote “yes” or “no” at the forum and give thanks.
